Jeffrey is an avid Salmon and Halibut fisherman out of Homer, AK. Jeffrey learned from Captain Richard Baltzer aboard the F/V Obsession and is a legend in homer sport fishing. He grew up all over the world and got to experience different cultures and fishing techniques. Specializing in taking families and friends on halibut/salmon charters, he prides himself not only on the catch, but the well-being of his passengers and their overall experience. Buttwhackers Filleting Services
Buttwhackers is the premier filleter in Homer, Alaska for sport caught fish, and George & Ayjan are the masters of Fillet and Release! They will assist you by hanging your catch on a rack so you may take pictures. Then they will perfectly fillet your fish while putting on a show. If you prefer to process the fillets yourself, they will simply be bagged. Otherwise, Buttwhackers will contact the fish processor of your choice to have your fillets vacuum packed and frozen. We provide filleting services free of charge for every customer who books with Alaska Saltwater Adventures.
Local processors can arrange for FedEx shipping, Cold Storage, or even prepare your boxes for your return flight home. All processing services will be a separate expense. The following are companies we recommend:
