Family Fun on the Water: Creating Memories with Alaska Saltwater Adventures

At Alaska Saltwater Adventures, there's nothing quite like the smiles on kids’ faces when they reel in their very first fish! Recently, we had the pleasure of taking two enthusiastic Young Anglers out on the water, and the excitement was palpable as they proudly held up their catches: a magnificent King Salmon and a shiny Silver Salmon!

We LOVE having kids on our Fishing Charters! It’s truly special to share the joy of Fishing with the next generation. Teaching them to cast, reel, and appreciate the thrill of the catch is not just about Fishing; it’s about creating lasting memories that they will cherish forever.

Each trip is an opportunity to foster a love for fishing and the ocean, as well as to instill respect for our marine environment.

Small change to 2020 fishing for Homer, Alaska

Small change to 2020 fishing for Homer, Alaska

All Tuesdays and Wednesdays you can not retain Halibut in 3A where Homer is located. The bag limit is still 2 halibut but one must be 26” or less the other any size. The fishing opportunity in Alaska is still the greatest in the world in my opinion so small management changes are needed to sustain it. The management is working in a positive way and being proactive to keep it sustainable before its too late.
